Haitian traditionals and their covers

Some old songs (19) have such musical appeal that even international artists (458) have included them in their repertoires. Sometimes Haitian history goes back so far that the authors of the work can no longer be identified. “Chouncoune” is certainly a standout track, which, in the form of “Yellow Bird,” became a Caribbean standard.
